Our Commitment to Action
As participants in the 10th annual Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) meeting, Bits & Bots has committed to creating a framework that educators can use to develop their own lesson plans and curriculum to teach complex topics of computer science at any level. Currently there are many resources for educators to teach students, but there are very few formalized frameworks for STEM-focused clubs like Black Engineering Students Society (BESS) at Northeastern to follow. We hope to empower less resource-rich communities with the tools to introduce STEM education programs to their youth, providing guidance and materials to help them succeed.
